Physicians Practice Magazine
One of our goals is to help physicians manage their practices more efficiently, leading to improved patient care. The publication Physicians Practice offers real answers to real problems. WMC sponsors and distributes customized versions of this nationwide magazine, which contains expert practice information and news, to doctors across the state.
The Need for Practice Management
Now more than ever, business and medicine are inseparable. Mergers and acquisitions of hospitals and clinics, the changing face of the health-insurance industry, falling reimbursement and heightened regulations have made business principles essential to the practice of medicine. The business-savvy physician will find the most success at delivering quality patient care in a changing field.
Physicians Practice teaches doctors how to navigate the difficult financial straits of the medical marketplace. In-depth articles written by experts in the healthcare and practice management fields inform physicians about new technologies, ways to cut costs and important issues for billing and collections. And since Physicians Practice is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education, doctors actually earn CME credit while they learn.
